This is the place to look for the Diabetes Camp that runs every summer in Colorado Springs, CO and many more local diabetic events.
TEAM JDRF - This is where you can set up your own fundraiser and the proceeds go to JDRF to help find a cure to type 1 diabetes. This would be a great thing for college bound high schoolers or type 1 community members who want to show their support for JDRF.

Diabetes Counts
We are here to support you the type 1 community in the western Colorado and eastern Utah area, especially kindergarten through 12th grade type 1 students. We are interested in raising funds with Community Hospital, getting a pediatric endocrinologist here in Grand Junction at least a few times a year to help support local endocrinologists who are overwhelmed with patients and to work toward community awareness and education about type 1 diabetes. If you would like to be involved please sign up at our web page and we will let you know when we hold events and need help.
A support, awareness and mentoring group created for type 1 diabetics from kindergarten to 12th grade and their families. The goal of the group has three parts: for the community at large to understand more about type 1 diabetes, for kindergarten to 12th grade type 1 diabetics to; get to know, help and enjoy one another through local events and mentoring and finally, that the families of these type 1 diabetics will also recieve support from local professionals and one another.
