A support, awareness and mentoring group created for type 1 diabetics from kindergarten to 12th grade and their families. The goal of the group has three parts: for the community at large to understand more about type 1 diabetes, for kindergarten to 12th grade type 1 diabetics to; get to know, help and enjoy one another through local events and mentoring and finally, that the families of these type 1 diabetics will also recieve support from local professionals and one another.

To Caid and Mitchell for all of your hard work getting up early on the weekend all summer long and cycling like pros in the 50 and 30 mile rides respectively. You are an inspiration to other type 1s.

Summer Events and More
Diabetes Counts RSVP
Train with a Type 1 Cyclist - Begins this June every Saturday from 9AM -10AM
We will be training up for the Tour of the Valley Ride on August 26th. This event is hosted by type 1 cyclists from our community who are very interested in helping you learn how to ride and give you the pointers they have learned on how to do long rides with type 1 diabetes. In August they will ride with us along with a rider from Sanofi Aventis's Team Type 1!*** 2013 News ***
